Since libraries probably have PCS, you might have to pull up Narrator, which is Microsoft's compromise between having and not having a built-in screen reader. You could go to the run box and type in the address. That's the best I can think of to do.

That is a really good question. In the audio demonstration, the college student got the librarian to help him at first. Good question.

but if you don't have a screen reader, how do you get to it?

The idea behind it is that you could use anyone's computer, or a public
computer like at the library or college. It's assuming you don't have your
own computer with you. Supposedly all you have to do it to go to their
website, and then you can access other websites from there, and the screen
reader will read it.

Felix and I played with it. It worked okay on Mac, except I don't know
which key corresponds to the "home" key. I put in an address for another
website in the text box and it took me there, I tried My Space, but I
couldn't get it to read anything. Not sure why. Cus it went there, and
kept the field where I typed the address still on the page, as though I was
accessing My Space through their page. So I need to play with it more I
guess. Or maybe My Space needs to already have a copy on their sever before
it can work? Not sure.

Even though it may work on the mac, why would youwant it if you were
using a Mac? I could understand it if you went to a windows PC that
didn't have JAWS or Window-eyes on it, but with the mac, we have VO
right there and all somebody would have to do is hit command f5. Just
trying to swing discussion back to the mac, and VO lol

From what I have read, it only works on Windows-based machines. I
don't think it works on the Mac; at least, it didn't say it did.
