Hi Zitlali.

To start Voiceover and choose the spanish voice, you can do the following: 1: Depending of the keyboard settings, you have to press command f5 or command fn f5 to start Voiceover.
2: Press control option f8 to bring up the Voiceover utility
3:
Choose the speech category
4: There you can choose between a lot of voices. Play around with it and have some fun. Smile. Well, you have to find the spanish voice from the list, click on it and when it speaks, you just have to close the Voiceover utility again.

Now, your dad needs to learn how to use Voiceover. He can start a very nice and easy understandable Voiceover guide by pressing control option command f8. This guide is only in english, so if he don't understand english, I think you have to translate the different commands for him. I don't know if the Voiceover manual is translated to spanish.

Hope it helps.
Best regards

Hello!

My dad is blind and I'm trying to help him to start learning about the use of the software infovox ivox- voice-over. We already install the infovox ivox, but now we dont know what is next. Could someone please tell me the basics instructions to get started in the use of this system (voice- over)? My dad would like to be able to use the computer hearing the voice of the software guiding him always. He speaks Spanish , so the voice that he has is
"Rosa" I don't know if that makes a difference...

Thanks in advance!
