Hi Jesse,
I would strongly recommend the mac book over the mini. If for no
other reason than that the mac book is a notebook computer. You are
not tied to a wall outlet or a desk. I realize that one can make the
mini quite portable, however you do not attain the freedom that a
notebook computer affords you. Good luck on your decision. Have a
