I hope all is well.
Regarding your decision, as to whether or not you should purchase a
mac mini or a mac book, it is personally up to you. Personally, if
you do not have a laptop already, and are looking for one to travel
with, I would definitely recommend the Mac Book.
It is portable, and though it is more expensive, it is definitely a
good computer.
As far as the Mac Mini is concerned, I hear they are revamping the mac
mini, adding enhancements, and so fourth. So, if you really want a
Mac Mini, I would wait for a little while, probably at least another
month or two.
Safest bet is to go with a Mac Book for now.
