Thanks, Scott, for responding.  Glad you enjoyed the podcast.  Actually, I
have several others I never sent, and they're probably dated by now.

What is iWOrk, aside from being a word processor?  Is it part of the Leopard
operating system's complement of products, or is it a third-party piece of
software?

As far as Open Office is concerned, is it freeware?

I'll think of you the next time I do a podcast from Austria.

Hey Mike, I remember your podcast in Vienna you did for BLind Cool  
Tech. I'm sure many will answer your questions, but Open Office and  
likely iWOrk will do what you need. As far as ocr, Read Iris has  
worked well for me. Fusion will certainly allow you to use MS Office  
until your sure Open Office or iWOrk will do what you need. I'll let  
others address the other questions.
