Um, no, he didn't.

He said that since ODF *can* do xyz, and since ODF is OOo's file format, OOo
should (I*H*MO) (H=his) support xyz or at least x, x being something OOo
does not already do.

*You* on the other hand, took his suggestion, and flew off the handle about
it.

For me, I think OOo should include a DTP and improved HTML editing. It would
also be great if it was able to easily and with the default download (but
not necessarily on by default) hook up with and/or into Firefox and
Thunderbird. (Shared dictionaries, similar interface, etc.) If HTML editing
cannot be improved, then hooks for Nvu should be available.

But, I agree with Ian (shock, I know), that the number 1 priority should be
more effect design, smaller code, smaller install download, less RAM hog,
etc.

On the other hand, I am not a coder, I am at best a black sheep in this
group, and my opinion doesn't matter.
