When I turn on "writer" I get......... No "edit file" grayed out, "can't restore" grayed out, but cut and copy reappear in tool bar when I hi-light. When I turn on draw I get No save, no edit file, no cut or paste,. On the bottom tool bar I get no shapes or call outs or smileys.The symbols are there but they don't work!?!?! Can anybody tell me why?
Well Andy, I'd say that you can't *restore* until you *undid* something. As S. Holmes said: "Elementary, Mr. Watson" For the "edit file" I don't know, where is that option? (BTW: what OOo are you using, on which machine and under what OS? That helps to get help from us, volunteers) In Draw: you have to select something to be able to Cut or Copy it. You can't save until you do something.
