Sounds like a very good idea. The UI project (of which I am a member) also tried to attract UX experience (what a strange term), but the de-facto death of ui.openoffice.org says we somehow failed ... I'd be glad if we'd get a new dedicated place for UX - I in fact think this is highly necessary ...
