In fact I think the UI project might become superfluous then (but wanted
to wait with this proposal until UX has been accepted :). What would be
left for it is, somewhat plain, coding of dialogs. Not much to justify a
dedicated project, IMO. It's been effectively dead over the last
months/years, anyway ...
Don't forget that accessibility is part of the UI project.

Actually, I think this wouldn't hurt when "demoting" the UI project. I
can't remember (but that might be only me) something A11Y-related
happening especially in UI. Yes, there's a lot of A11Y-development
happening, but effectively, there wasn't a direct connection to UI at
any time - was there?
I think accessibility should be part of the UX project. Accessibility,
usability and others ilities you can think of are very important to user
experience. So, accessibility subproject should move togheter with the
people in UI.
I still believing the UI project can be renewed.
