If the only solution you will accept is a monolithic
solution, the Microsoft is your solution.

If you are willing to accept a solution from a variety of
vendors, that integrate together, and provide the same (or
more likely greater) functionality, then there are options
that work.

Where FLOSS marketing fails, is to show that the second
solution is more effective and reliable for the organization
than the first solution is.
