I have an older, not quite working Vidikron home theater projector that I am getting rid of and thought someone may want to try to fix it for themselves, or for science. Hate to just trash it since it works fine if it is out of its housing. When in the housing the bulb will shut off after a minute. The best I can figure is that a temperature sensor is bad or a fan is not turning on inside when the housing is attached. I am not good at fixing stuff, just breaking stuff, but i thought someone may be interested in trying on it.
The projector can’t just be serviced because Vidikron was bought out and there are no official replacement parts. So if someone wants to operate on the insides of a projector let me know and it is yours as I have upgraded my setup.
