I think one of the most important things to evaluate the quality of a product is that when a user is using a translated/localized software, he doesn't realize that it has been "patched for his language". I've downloaded the last beta2 125 for spanish people (supposedly) and I see it doesn't include any spanish dictionary, but english, italian and russian. I hope it's still time to fix this before the release, and there are, IIRC, members of at least two projects about spanish dictionares in this list that could add something to help you to locate the dictionaries. - From the technical side, and from my point of view, there are two main issues that stop OOo from spreading: compatibility with M$ formats (which is in a very stable status and near 100%, I think) and database management, which has been enhanced a lot, but this still crashes when doing some basic usage to mysql data. :( Now it's really much closer to a wider and fast spread, and I hope next month to have some news on the tests with the current 2.0.x available for some people I know depending on M$ access. Of course, I'm aware of the efforts Sun is doing for OOo 2.0, but let's say "I'm used to deal with it when it comes with eyes from abroad". Just my two cents.
