I'm saying you would ask them to create a NEW page that take in URL variables to control what to show, and then not only shows only those records, but does so in a simpler way (not all that HTML that is designed for making the site friendly to humans). We're talking about getting them to create a new page (as you requested), but one to be used (consumed) only by other web applications, not real people.
