Teddy one thought though is maybe I run just this application on a shared server. Do you know if there is a way to access a remote "MySQL" database (one running on the linux server) with CF? Could an DSN be made on the shared server that could update the MySQL database which resides on a remote server on a different network?
I have not worked with MySQL before but something tells me that I think I remember researching this once and determining it couldn't be done.
