Thanks for the info.. The connector is correct, and the adapter accepts 100-240 VAC 50-60Hz, with an output power of 16VDC 0-4.55A  So you can plug in anywhere with it!   It probably draws more power than others, but it's a well built unit. They come in various part numbers, but anything for a Thinkpad T40 or similar will use the same connector and power. -- Bill Plein
