Similar report here: linux/x86 (both intel and athlon) to mswindows (using mingw cross compiler) all the time with distcc. Our commercial product is compiled that way. We don't have any MSWindow installations in-house. VMware for testing. Cross-compilers may be a pain, but are worth it.
