There has been no further feedback on PEP 470, and Donald has incorporated all the feedback, so I'm happy to announce that I am approving it.
The PEP is available in the usual place at https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0470/. Thanks to all who participated in the various threads on the subject, and to Donald for writing the PEP and updating it to reflect all of the extensive feedback.
