I completely agree with you, for example on dating sites like speedy or things like that. But when you are making a governmental website for example: you need actual identity. Same goes when you're manipulating money: most countries require you to partake in the fight against money laundering and they will not allow you to take/pay people without a valid identity (KYC/KYB).
