Hi all,
I'm from Chile, and working (and having fun) with django. Thanks! :D.
We are about to launch a website, but one remaining issue is some
untranslated string on the admin app (we speak spanish, by the way). I
want to translate this bits, but make-messages.py doesn't work here:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/src/django-svn/django$ bin/make-messages.py -l es
processing language es
errors happened while running xgettext on validators.py
./core/validators.py:364: atención: 'msgid' format string with unnamed
arguments cannot be properly localized:
The translator cannot reorder the
arguments.
Please consider using a format
string with named arguments,
and a mapping instead of a tuple
for the arguments.
I've tried to avoid that particular error, only to get some more errors
(something related to non-ascii chars on some file).
Am I doing something bad? Or is it the code wich need some cleanup to
be translatable? In such case, should I fill a bug with patches
attached to make it translatable again?
Thanks again to everybody involved on django for this great framework,
--
Leo Soto M.
