#21164: get_user_model() does not handle custom user models for testing purposes -----------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Reporter: raymond.penners@… | Owner: nobody Type: Bug | Status: closed Component: contrib.auth | Version: 1.5 Severity: Normal | Resolution: invalid Keywords: | Triage Stage: Unreviewed Has patch: 0 | Needs documentation: 0 Needs tests: 0 | Patch needs improvement: 0 Easy pickings: 0 | UI/UX: 0 -----------------------------------+-------------------------------------- Changes (by russellm):
* status: new => closed * resolution: => invalid Comment: Thanks for the example project -- however, you've just reinforced what I said in my initial comments. Your code says {{{ @override_settings(AUTH_USER_MODEL='auth.CustomUser') }}} However, `auth.CustomUser` *does not exist*. There is no such model. Hence the error "AUTH_USER_MODEL refers to model 'auth.CustomUser' that has not been installed" is completely accurate. -- Ticket URL: <https://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/21164#comment:4> Django <https://code.djangoproject.com/> The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django updates" group.
