I understand your reasons for proposing this, but I'm very reluctant to
introduce in Django the solution you're suggestion. It mixes very
different things and it's likely to break in all sorts of funny ways. I
acknowledge the problem but I don't believe this is an acceptable
solution.
Could you bring this up on the django-developers mailing list? This is the
best way to see if a new feature has support. Thanks!
PS: this should be doable with a custom authentication backend and/or
middleware.
