This exact question was asked (and answered) on django-users yesterday. There aren't any current plans for a DjangoCon.AU, NZ, or APAC. What is required is an interested group from the community to organize the conference. If such a group emerges, the Django Software Foundation will do whatever it can to assist. In the interim, the best option is your local Python conference; PyCon.AU, PyCon.NZ or PyCon.APAC.
