I'm working through 'practical django projects' on page 46, in order to develop stanalone application, I need to add my django 'project' to the python path. therefore..
export PYTHONPATH=/home/mark/django_projects/:$PYTHONPATH then a little later in the tutorial after setting up the 'coltrane application' I run the 'python manage.py syndb' command, from within the project folder, '[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/django_projects$ python manage.py syncdb' and get the following error... 'python: can't open file 'manage.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory' how I do I test to see what my python path is? what am I doing wrong? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group.
