Hi everyone.

A new beta of DL 0.10 is available, and can be downloaded either from git or
here:

  http://www.thregr.org/~wavexx/tmp/dl-0.10-rc1.zip

The new DL sports a new "REST" interface and *two* clients written for it.
"dl-cli" allows to create tickets through the command line:

 $ dl-cli file...
 http://dl.example.com/d?t=adfafd

perfect for scripts.

"dl-wx" is graphical instead, Please see the following page, where I've also
built a fully working .exe for Windows (2k and beyond):

  http://www.thregr.org/~wavexx/software/dl/dl-wx/

Both clients are still experimental: they are very bare-bone, but I'm accepting
suggestions. I'm not sure in how much time I can dedicate to those in the near
future, but whatever the state both clients will ship into the next 0.10, and I
will build a proper page for dl-wx for windows (and mac, if anybody helps).

I also need help for the Spanish, French and Dutch translations. Very few
strings changed, so it should be very quick. If you can help, please contact me
personally. The .po files are inside the source, ready to be updated.

That being said, I can explain the rationale behind the new DL release.

I was quite disappointed to note that even inside my organization a lot of
people resorted to dropbox and alternative services to exchange one-shot files.
People don't really care about privacy, or data retention, or any kind of
policy abuse. It seems that convenience trumps over *everything*. It's sad,
because more and more services are popping up, depriving users of both privacy
*and their own data*.

The only way I can see around this is building a solution which is at least as
convenient as the alternatives, and I hope that dl-wx increases dl acceptance.
But I'm accepting suggestions in how to fight this phenomenon. I would like to
publicize dl more, in order to offer more people a free and fully owned
alternative. I don't have time for "marketing", so any help is appreciated here.

Bests.
