And since the From field is the only one users really see every time, I'm not sure that declaring and supporting yet another no-seriously-this-is-the-author field would be of benefit. Rather, I think it would just confuse things further. The closest thing I can see is considering use of Sender somehow, since there are even a few MUAs that do pay vague attention to it. But that's extremely hand-wavy to start with. -MSK
