It occurs to me that discussion about how this latest proposal might or might not have similarities to ARC should encourage everyone making a proposal to add commentary that gives a full sense of end-to-end use.
That is, distinguish the details of how the specific mechanism works, from how it integrates into end-to-end service. How is it expected to get used and why is that believed to be practical (as well as useful?)
