Hi, About a year ago, I come out with this question, and the answer is that this functionality is under deveopment restart process will block on a fork system call when checkpoint in a higher version of linux OS(for example 2.6.32), and try to restart the process at a low version OS(for example 2.6.9). Any status update? I hope to checkpoint a process at a linux kernel and restart it at different kernel version in corrpoerate with the heterogeneous-could computing environment.
