Hi Jake,

Thanks for reporting the bug. If you can provide us with a test
program where we can observe the slowdown, it becomes lot easier to
fix. There were a lot of changes between 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 and so it's a
little hard to find the problem. Also, we are planning to release
1.2.5 in the next few days and so I would be very happy to solve this
issue and include the fixes in the new release.

PS: I noticed that you said 1.3/1.4, I assume you meant 1.2.3 and 1.2.4.
