He he... I hear you, but I just don't get on with Halion that well for some
reason...
My current setup allows me to run 30 or so devices (not all instruments) in
reason and then a few VSTi's
(Junglist/Pro 52/B4 etc..) and about 20-30 plugins depending on what they
are.. That's all good, but I like using Reason devices because : 1. They
have a very low CPU overhead. 2. They're stupidly easy to automate. 3. You
can easily manage and obtain presets etc.. .

I only picked up Battery a few days ago though, so things may or may not
change soon!

You've gotta admit though, it is pretty dumb to have a 16 device limit :oP

DD, I can't beleive you'd talk about your pc like that!! You've got to treat
her like a lady!! :)

cyas..

cmon use even the other VST plugs !! ;)
on my last projects I'm working with Battery for drum sounds, Reason for
drum breaks, Halion for normal samples and assorted synths and plugs (a
miracle my pc doesn't explode ;P), in the bunch Junglist (LOVE THAT synth),
Pro 52 and JX Synth...reaching 40 tracks on the mixer......
till that I had no troubles at all, at least none of the supposed troubles
coming with such use.....
the fact that I had in the meantime some hardware problems was due to the
fact that my pc is sensitive cunt in certain periods of time.....
