Lars,

Cool, so do you mount the drive when you want to load and save and then
unmount it imediately afterwards? This whole problem had been driving me
mad - I backed up the hard disk on the A3000 yesterday and reformatted the
drive, so we'll see how it does now...

To be honest, I've never quite uderstood the mount / unmount function - it
reminds me of the old school 'park' thing that you used to have to do with
old hard disks....

Anyways, thanks for the advice....
