I just got the MOTU 828 Firewire Audio Interface. It is pretty nice for the price. 8 analog ins/10 outs. 2 Mic preamps. It is pretty well suited for home recording as well as for live performance. Something smaller and cheaper is that little USB interface by Emagic. cna't remember the name..... emi????
