I�ve dun now 3 live acts with a pc and cubase.. got all songs in midi in one arrangement so u can use the effects and the synth to screw on u`re sound and mixing it with other lines from other songs ... thats not really live i know ... but thats in my opinion not possible if your just one person... I would go for that usb thing from tascam ... with midi-controllers for your mixer and (I use a bassstation) for midi-controll the vstis filters doepfer drehbank... but its still shit if u change the bpm there are drop outs in cubase like in logic so u should also have a hardware sequenzer !!! I�ll get the rm1x from yamaha(pretty cheap) and use my pc only for the reaktor and plug all my vsti+vste into rt-player.
