Wow, I might be getting Reason quite soon, so I was wondering how it all integrates into use with another sequencer (ideally Logic)? Can you use it with Logic Platinum? Can you layer either Reason synths or other soft synths (eg Jungle, or the Logic synths etc) in Logic to have multi-timbral synth performances along with the tracks run off my hardware rack sampler - or is this asking too much? I have always been rack based, so not sure how it all works really. I have been toying with the idea of getting a Novation, but Reason could be way cheaper and easier, non?
In which case is it better to go for the sampler, plus Logic Plat. and a few soft synths run off the PC for the same effect. Theres just less ability to use my hardware compressors/FX on the outputs, but then plug ins would be available i guess to do the same thing if not better...questions, questions... I have a PII 450 with 192MB Ram and a Guillemot ISIS card - what would be a good card to upgrade to for this kind of set up, is it worth changing the card?
