thanks jon,

yeah, I know - I tend to write a 4 bar drum loop and then use it through-out
the song, which has the obvious side-effect of making the song sound
repetitive. I need to do some work on the breaks and filter the bass line a
little.

One thing tho, what does, "...very CD compalation esq..." mean? are you
saying the songs sound commercial? isn't that a good thing? :)

thanks anyways...

Well,

Overall the production was pretty good. Both tracks had a good sound and a
nice sheen...very CD compalation esq...

I liked all the tech basslines in the first track, but not so much in the
second track.

For both of them, I think the drums need serious work. There wasnt a whole
lot of variance in the beat structure in either track....this lent to track
that just sort of ploded along and never got hyped up.

Personally...I think they are both great foundations to work from.
