I've never heard C4C, but here is a technique that might help if it's a distorted sub
bass you're looking for. On your mixer, run an aux send to a distortion pedal,
preamp, Pod, whatever. That way, you get all of the sub bass and the harmonic
distortion, which gives the impression of higher pitch.
