I guess it depends how you build your tracks. I sequence everything using
midi+sampler so all i have to do is adjust the bpm on playback and
everything plays slower.

Subject: [dnb-prod] Slowing down the tempo...

I've picked up a slightly twisted habit recently of listening to DnB tracks
at a slower tempo (using a tempo adjusting plugin for winamp)...

I know that a lot of people slow the track they're working on down a bit to
make editing the breaks easier but what's the best way to go about doing it?

Is it best to mix the break down at the slower tempo and then timestretch it
to full speed? or is there a better way?

anyone know?

cheers,

Nick
