Steinberg Warp is the by far the best amp sim ive ever encountered. Very warm and authentic sounding overdrive and distortion. Definately a good one for bass. Steinberg Quadrafuzz is also a good general distortion plug-in - makes things loud and (very) crunchy, but is a bit 'colder' and more digital sounding.
