I've been using a Motu 828 with my desknote laptop and I'm loving it. Only
problems I've encountered are compatibility issues with win xp and the wdm
drivers for it. Pops and crackles no matter what buffer settings I use,
other then that ASIO works like a charm, and it's portable, just rack it up
plug into laptop and go.
