nice coincidence...my dad's the artist too... too bad he doesn't do it
more regularly.

i think the programming music let you put your musical mind to work
without the hectic thing of playing an instrument regularly. it's a whole
another beast. so you can imagine the madness having to make the whole
damn tune AND then having to play all the guitars and sing vocals. but
i've got a cool fem singer now so i don't have to deal with the vocals...cos
i'm not really a singer. decent is as far as i've gotten.

now that i've got the midi setup going, i finally can get back to composing
the tunes more musically instead of manually having to input each damn
note with a mouse. i don't know why i didn't get myself midi'd up a year
ago.... i guess i thought it was much more complicated than it was.

my thing with dnb happened with konflict's "the beckoning" - when that track
starts absolutely blasting... it gave me the same intense rush that the
verve
parts on jane's addiction's' Stop... wicked stuff...
