hey there.
ive been away from the list for a while and thats cos i took the brilliant advice and went away and worked so hard in my bedroom studio.
anyway, on the issues of sampling.
if u sample a tune but its been messed using plug ins etc do u still have to give credit to the original artist? how much do u usually have to pay to clear the samples
and .. how do u get in touch with the people? u need a load of written stuff to say its cleared and little unsigned producers like me cant get that done. also if its from an "obscure" tune and u cant find the original artist, what do you do?
confusing issue here for me. builidin up tunes is hard work.
id just like to know how much can u "rip" (by that i mean sample cos i cant get a sample to change sound form in soundforge - maybe a few tips on that) off a tune?
