This may sound like
a really retarded question, but can you use those 0.5m jack to jack Patch cables
to connect outboard gear together when linking a few modules together in a main
insert chain
I just have main
inserts on my hardware mixer (no group/bus inserts), with only one stereo
compressor connected at the moment. I also have an enhancer and an EQ that i
want to link with the compressor on the main inserts to fully treat my main mix
but don't need 3m cables making a mess everywhere.
Are 1/4inch
connector Patch cables exactly the same as normal jack -> jack audio leads,
but just shorter???
It may sound
stupid, but I thought i would check before buying some.
