Cool... I thought it probably could but I've never delved into it too deep... Time to dig out that manual I guess...

cheers,

soundforge can do this...like once i had it import a 3 min sample wav of all
snare hits...it separated them all automatically...

something with markers/regions ... you add them
based on percussion hits or something. then it regions
them all based on the initial drum attack.

oh ...it's Auto Region - look up auto region in the manual. it'll separate them based on other selections too,
not just percussion hits. check it out

Subject: [dnb-prod] Program for extracting/chopping up sample CDs?

Can anyone recommend a program that can *automatically* read in all the
tracks from a sample cd and then automatically cut them into seperate

wavs?

What I'd like is to be able to just put the disc in, press a button and
come back 'x' minutes later once it's all done... Any ideas?

Cheers,

Nick
