From: "Professor Vast" > i'm not sure what you're saying here I tried http://www.spacetaxi.de/sf/waveknife.html in XP and it works fine, download the zip (250kb) and drop the waveknife.exe on your desktop as it doesn't install, run it, set the source and destination folders and click split. In a few moments you will be smiling. It only works on .wav files so you have to copy and convert any other format to .wav first. The compatibility thingy is for old apps that won't work properly in XP. You right click on the problem programs .exe file and select properties. In the box that pops up click the compatibility tab and select an earlier Windows os, like win 2000 and then try the program.
