ther eis nothing inherently wrong with fruity loops... i like to think i have decent production and i use exclusively fruity. concord dawn has a very clean sound and they use fruity too. production is *very* challenging, it takes years to master. its hard to give you advice unless you send us samples of what you are doing, there are no hard fast rules to production, it is an art.
good luck,

Hello there forum!!!!
I have a question if anyone would be decent enough to answer.
Production wise I use fruityloops and vst plugins to create the
sounds I am after but the sound from the overall mix I find is
quite muddy and not so crisp sounding.
Is there any one thing that I should be paying particular attention
to in so far as the mixdown goes or do you feel it is a problem
inherent with fruityloops?
Any comments would be most appreciated.
