interesting. im still very skeptical of this idea that fruity's audio engine is somehow mixing the sounds in any worse way than others. from what little DSP programming i know, the basic core ideas of digital audio are pretty simple, its not like making a tube amp or anything. if anyone has any links or pointers to good articles talking about differences in different programs audio engines id be very interested in hearing about it.

That's what I'm led to believe. So you still got Fruitys way of working etc. but with Logic's audio engine . I do the same if I want to use reason for anything, just re-wire into Cubase and use the mixer to tweak etc.
