Something else I wasn't aware of, thanks for pointing it out. So let me rephrase this as something that debian has, and that I would like to see continued in devuan if possible. I think James' proposal isn't a bad one. Maintaining a release three-four releases back with a year after that for updates comes out to about five years if I understand what James said correctly.
