Somehow the Session plugin (or maybe Do itself) doesn't communicate the command via D-Bus correctly. Because if you send it directly to the gnome-power-manager through a Terminal it works (at least for me). Command to try it out (for shutdown):
dbus-send --session --dest=org.freedesktop.PowerManagement --type=method_call /org/freedesktop/PowerManagement org.freedesktop.PowerManagement.Shutdown -- GNOME Session Management plugin doesn't always work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/287563 You received this bug notification because you are a member of GNOME Do Plugins Team, which is subscribed to GNOME Do Plugins. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~do-plugins Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~do-plugins More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
