Fedora boxes only come with "GCJ", which fails on things that work in
Sun's JVM for Linux.
This is not true. GIJ accepts these options too. It further accepts
their equivalent options -ms and -mx.
I didn't know it took those command-line arguments, but my point was
that the gcj VM doesn't run some Java code correctly and maybe that's
the problem here. See if another JVM solves things.
