Is the plan to add more content to the "What's mod_perl" page? I could try

Well, I was hoping to add some content to the about/ section, making it a Docset and adding maybe "People behind mod_perl" and the proposed "Link to us", as well as maybe how we should pronounce it.

Go for it, Per Einar! Don't forget the 'world domination' chapter :)

- Should the Documentation page give some hints what beginners should read
to get started?

+1. It's partly covered by the "Guide's overview", but we could make it a little shorter and add it at the beginning of the documentation part.

This overview chapter sucks and very outdate. It could get some update.

- What's the thinking about writing in the third person? The home page
says "you" a lot. For example, instead of "You can use Perl to manage
Apache" one might say "Manage Apache with Perl" (although "manage" is a bit
vague in this example).

I don't think one way is better than another, but it's less formal saying
"you" and a bit more professional in the third person.

I don't think it matters that much. And it'll get pretty tiresome to write in the 3rd person all the time.

we probably should be consistent everywhere if we do that. And there are lots of things to change then. And even harder to keep that way.
