hi

i dont like the idea of any kind of bullets in our menu (functionality-wise and look-wise), especially the arrow-type. i fail to see the point in implementing a bullet at all - our menu is very simple and clear as it is currently IMO, so what's the gain?
besides, the arrow-type bullet has at least some conotanations to the mac operating system directory-structure, so when i click on the arrow i would expect that menu-item to unfold its sub-items. (which of course would be nice but then we have some javascript involved).

It seems that small bullets in the menu (like we have at index.html
tocs) make it nicer. e.g. see:

It looks nice, but as far as I know the only way to implement it is using
tables (so you don't end up with something like this:

* What is mod_perl
* Technologie
Extraordinaire
* Download
..

That is, the text of long lines will break and (unless you us tables) won't
align correctly.

Therefore I'm
-0.5
because it's only a small cosmetic change that adds hardly anything to the
user interface, but generates HTML oerhead.
